In late 2021, we signed an agreement with a global energy provider to supply renewable energy to common areas and offer tenants the option to purchase 100% green electricity.
As of December 2023, 30% of residential units have contracts with the provider. The partnership provides tenants access to better energy rates, helps reduce their carbon footprint, and supports our tenants and communities in building a more sustainable future.
The agreement was expanded to include electricity consumption in common areas of our buildings, such as parking lots, gardens, entryways, and elevators.
Our next step is to propose the purchase of green energy for common areas in buildings under Homeowners’ Association (HOA) regimes, where Testa Homes manages assets with over 80% ownership.
