The District 2025 has once again established itself as the major international meeting point for European real estate. And once again, Testa Homes played a prominent role at this key industry event, both as sponsors and as speakers. Over three intense days, Barcelona became the hub for more than 14,000 international professionals, who shared experiences, explored business opportunities and analysed the trends shaping the future of the property market. We wouldn’t have missed it for the world!

An agenda marked by debate and reflection

Our presence at the professional congress The District World Summit allowed us to contribute to the ongoing dialogue on the present and future of residential real estate, defending a housing model that is sustainable, accessible and capable of meeting the needs of both society and investors. Within this framework, we actively took part in two key panels:

• On 1 October, our CEO, Juan Pablo Vera, joined the roundtable “Where Investors Are Betting on Residential Real Estate”, addressing crucial topics such as the evolution of prices, changes in demand and the new investment strategies transforming transactions in sales and lettings.
• On the same day, our COO, Noelia Rosón, moderated the panel “Rented Residential: Building Institutional-Grade BTR Portfolios”, which brought together leading experts to discuss the challenges of consolidating institutional Build to Rent portfolios, ensuring sustainable returns and tenant satisfaction on a large scale.

Recognition for our Green Path project

In addition, within the framework of The World Class District Awards, we were finalists in the category “CaixaBank Award for The Best Real Estate Transaction with the Greatest ESG Impact” thanks to our Green Path project — a sustainability plan that is leading the energy transition in residential rentals in Spain, built around four main pillars:

• Installation of 4,200 solar panels across 63 buildings, generating clean energy that avoids more than 400 tCO₂e emissions per year.
• Introduction of aerothermal systems for hot water in over 780 homes.
• Energy efficiency measures, such as replacing lighting with LEDs and improving façade insulation.
• An agreement with Repsol to guarantee a 100% green electricity supply in common areas, benefitting thousands of tenants.

This recognition strengthens our commitment to building rehabilitation and sustainability, motivating us to keep working with a responsible and efficient rental model. We also wish to congratulate Prologis and ALAS Vivienda Asequible (Affordable Housing) for their award-winning projects, which share with us the challenge of building a more responsible and sustainable sector.

A presence beyond the auditoriums

Our participation also extended to the media:

• Interviews at The District TV Studio, where Testa Homes CEO Juan Pablo and COO Noelia shared their views on the challenges and opportunities in residential real estate investment, as well as what our presence at this international forum has meant for our company.
• A live appearance on Radio Intereconomía, where our CEO provided in-depth analysis of market trends, investment opportunities and the strength of the multifamily model as a success story.
